Hi All
I am forwarding you this invitation for the fundraiser we are holding for Chris Uy. As most of you know, Chris was my Sous Chef here at Temple Kitchen until just recently.
On Good Friday, Chris was involved in a crash during a bike race he was participating in. He was in a coma up until last week and his recovery is looking to be both difficult and long. I am hoping to raise some funds for his recovery and for his partner Christine and son Jesse. Christine has been off work since the incident.
I have had some significant food, beverage & raffle donations for the event, as well we are in the process of arranging some live entertainment for the evening. All proceeds of donated food and beverage will be going directly to Chris.
If you can’t make it on the night of, we are accepting donations. As well I would gladly accept any raffle donations that you might be willing to give.
